The Community Development Department provides services for long-range land planning, land development, economic development, affordable housing, and transportation. Services include zoning review, building permits, dial-a-ride and affordable housing.
The Department provides staff support to the Planning Commission and the Village Business Improvement District, as those bodies make decisions and adopt programs for the community. In addition, the Department develops and supports the City Council in the creation of policies and a regulatory framework that guide the long-term physical, economic and social development of Glendora.
