ABOUT

There are always new and exciting things to keep teens busy at the Teen Center. The Teen Center is located in the Timothy Daniel Crowther Teen and Family Center, which is located at 241 W. Dawson Ave., across the street from Glen Oaks Golf Course. Programs are designed especially for 6th-, 7th-, and 8th-grade teens. Although it is a drop-in, noncustodial program, participants are required to sign in upon arrival.

The Teen Center consists of two adjoining rooms in the community center that are set aside exclusively for teen activities. The rooms, which are designed for teens, contain all types of equipment and furniture that help teens wind down after school in a supportive and friendly atmosphere. There are couches to lounge on; TVs and video games for entertainment; seven computers to do homework or play games; dozen of games; and loads of arts and crafts supplies. The game room, which consists of pool tables, table tennis, and air hockey, provides fun and excitement for the whole family. Outdoor play equipment is also available: flag football, tag and various other outdoor games.

TEENS FOR GLENDORA (T4G)

WHAT IS T4G?
A program for teens grades 6-12, to support the development of young community leaders, assist with community service opportunities, and create a positive impact among the Glendora community.

MONTHLY MEETINGS
Held on the last Thursday of every month starting at 4:00pm at the Crowther Teen & Family Center

IS T4G RIGHT FOR ME?
T4G requires strong commitment from its members. Members should be able to commit to monthly meetings and special events. Members should also show that they are leaders in their community by arriving on time to all meetings and events, being creative, communicating effectively with all members, and having a positive attitude. Our ultimate goal is to inspire all youth within Glendora to become active participants in their community.

BENEFITS OF T4G
Civic engagement, knowledge of the community, direct community impact, receiving training and leadership skills, developing positive youth and adult relationships, expanding your personal network, and representing teens by recommending action in the community.

The Teen Center Summer Program is a drop-in, non-custodial program, open to all resident and non-resident 6th, 7th, and 8th Graders. The Teen Center has many activities available each day such as ping pong, pool, music, movies, basketball, video games, dodge ball, and much more! Each week the summer program has different exciting events in addition to regular daily activities. Some of these special events include bus trips to local attractions, theme parks, and more!

THINGS TO REMEMBER

Trips depart from and return to the Teen Center.
Transportation provided.
Teens need to bring money for meals and snacks. (Unless noted on specific trip).
Teen Center staff can be reached on number provided during check-in.

REGISTRATION

Trip registration can be done in-person at the Teen Center or online at CityofGlendora.org/Register
All participants must have a current permission slip on file.
Sign-up at least 24 hours in advance | No registration taken the day of a trip.
In case of an emergency on trip days teens/parents call the on duty staff on the trip.

It's back to school time in Glendora! Join us in the afternoons filled with Guitar Hero I and II, Nintendo Switch, DDR and movie days in the Teen Lounge. Don't miss out on upcoming Teen Trips and Teen Center Hangouts with challenges, activities, and games.

TEEN CENTER HANGOUTS

Are you and your family looking for an excellent hang out spot to relax? Then check out the Teen Center today! The Teen Center offers many drop-in recreational activities for the whole family. It has zero memberships and only has a $2 daily drop-in fee for participants looking to use the basketball courts between the ages of 18 and 55. Stop by and enjoy what the Teen Center has to offer!

TEEN TRIPS

The Teen Center provides yearly trips for teens ages 11-17 to explore different theme parks and attractions in Southern California. Bussing and tickets are provided in the cost of the trip. All participants must have a permission slip to attend.

MIDDAY SHUTTLE SERVICES

MIDDAY SHUTTLE SERVICES
The City of Glendora's Crowther Teen & Family Center are proud to offer transportation services to students who attend Sandburg Middle School, Goddard Middle School, Royal Oak Middle School, Charter Oak High School or Glendora High School. The Midday Shuttle is a public, fixed route service that has three lines that make stops in Downtown Glendora/Glendora Library and the Teen Center.

SHUTTLE FARE RATES & INFORMATION

$0.75 - One-Way shuttle ride (Students K-12)
Route Map & Schedules
Shuttles DO NOT run on holidays.
You can also use any other bus stop (Foothill Transit) located along the route! Most shuttles come around at least twice so don't worry if you miss the first one!
Reduced Fare TAP cards are available for Students K-12.

DID YOU KNOW?
You can use your TAP card on all City shuttles now? You can purchase a TAP card at the City of Glendora Transportation Center at 410 E Dalton Ave or at City Hall, Recreation & Human Services Department at 116 E Foothill Blvd. You can apply for a reduced fare TAP card at either of these locations and receive a temporary TAP card until yours comes in the mail!
