Purpose of the Web Site:

It is the purpose of the official City of Glendora website  (www.CityofGlendora.org) to provide accurate, non-editorial content that will inform, educate, and enlighten the Citizens of the City of Glendora about the functions, services, activities, issues, operations and projects of their municipal government. When/where appropriate, the websites will be used to facilitate the delivery of direct services provided by the City of Glendora municipal government to its citizens and visitors. All City of Glendora municipal government offices, departments, agencies, governing bodies, boards, and commissions are eligible to submit content or request the posting or hypertext linking to appropriate information to support their mission or service initiatives. The City Webmaster, an employee of the Public Information and Media Division of the City of Glendora, is the public point of contact for all concerns regarding the City's web presence. In order to better service the needs of those who visit our site, the City of Glendora keeps track of certain traffic data. These include the platform used, browser type (, IP address (or Internet Protocol address, which identifies the visitor's service provider, but not the visitor personally) and the previous URL (Uniform Resource Locator, or Web address) visited by the visitor before clicking through to City of Glendora. None of these disclose personal information, and the information they do reveal is used exclusively for internal administrative purposes.
The City of Glendora's search engine collects aggregate search terms for internal reporting and targeted advertising.
