National Night Out, “America’s Night Out Against Crime”, began in 1984 as an effort to promote involvement in crime prevention activities, police-community partnerships, neighborhood camaraderie and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. The Glendora Police Department's 9th Annual National  Night Out will take place on Tuesday, August 5th from 5:30 - 9:00 p.m. at the Village Transit Bus Plaza in the heart of Glendora's downtown district.

Join GPD as they bring out their Police Vehicles, motorcycle Officers, free child fingerprinting, face painting and a dunk tank fundraiser benefitting the Police Explorer Post #402.  The Police Officers Association will be grilling free hot dogs and handing out water for this event.  Stop by for fun for the whole family, bring your friends and neighbors too!
