Moonlight on the Plaza
October 23, 7PM Glendora Library
Autumn brings cool, clear nights to Southern California. Snuggle up with someone special and enjoy hot coffee and tasty donuts as you view the amazing night sky through high powered telescopes, situated on the Library’s open-air plaza.
Your co-host is Tom Mason, an amateur astronomer with 20 years of experience operating Mt. Wilson’s historic 60 & 100-inch telescopes, showing celestial objects to clients. He’s been featured on “Greater LA” (KCRW) and NPR.
Mr. Mason will begin the evening with an exploration of why our moon is so amazing, before we move outside for the main viewing event. Don’t miss it!
This program is made possible by the Glendora Public Library, GPL Friends Foundation, and donors like you.
